Danielle Arbid, patron of La Fabrique Cinéma 2021 will have several work sessions with the participants of La Fabrique Cinéma.
This masterclass will be moderated by Léo Soesanto. She will talk about her own experience as filmmaker.

The International Organisation of the Francophonie (OIF) launched the Clap ACP programme in 2020, co-financed by the European Union and supported by the African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) Group of States. Clap ACP is run in partnership with the Côte d’Ivoire cinema support fund (FONSIC), and aims to strengthen co- production between films in developing
countries by enhancing financial aid and artistic, legal and commercial support actions. In 2021, OuiCoprod.org is being launched in this context. OuiCoprod.org is a platform for films and series from ACP States seeking financial and distribution partners, and which are looking for financial and commercial partners for co-production between films in developing countries, with support from Initiative Film, Yaoundé Film Lab, Discop, financial assistance from the EU and backed by the ACP Group of States.

Wissam Hojeij is a French-Lebanese composer whose scores can be heard on the biggest festivals screens, such as in Cannes at the Critic’s Week for Ceniza Negra by the Costa Rican director Sofia Quirós Ubeda, or at the Berlinale, as composer of the two last films of the Moroccan director Hicham Lasri, Headbang Lullaby and Jahilya (Panorama 2017 / Forum 2018).

The 10 first and second feature films, 3 documentaries and 7 fiction films from the La Fabrique Cinéma 2021 selection will be presented as video pitches and live by the directors and producers.
The partnership with Coprocity offers participants in La Fabrique Cinéma access to the platform where co- production professionals can follow their projects.

Ten French publishers, one German and one Finnish publisher pitch books with a chance of being adapted for cinema.
Shoot the Book! Cannes 2021 announces its selection of 12 French and international literary works selected by an international panel of audiovisual professionals for their high adaptation potential.

To help French artists and producers to promote their experiences in North America, the French operators strengthen their support to highlight French creation in a key market: the U.S. and Canada.
From the brand-new “Digital Playgrounds” program on games and XR to the “French Immersion” grants for online promotion, the Cultural Services of the French Embassy in the U.S. and its partners - CNC, Institut français, UniFrance and the French Embassy in Canada - invite you to learn more from the on-going calls for projects and insightful initiatives in order to put French XR experiences and videogames on the map.
